  • Alternate Picking: Down-up picking motion for speed and accuracy.

  • Fingerpicking: Use individual fingers to pluck strings for intricate melodies.

 

Basic Fretting Techniques

  • Press the strings close to the fret (but not on top) for clear notes.

  • Use the tips of your fingers to avoid muting adjacent strings.

  • Keep thumb placement behind the neck for better control.
